Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Begamob Global Limited, 45-51 Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong, is the controller of personal data processed through the AI OneSearch apps, aichat-search.com and its search pages (the "Service"). Privacy contact: support@aichat-search.com.

In short: we show information that is already public. We don’t notify the people you search for, we don’t sell your searches, and anyone who appears in our results can ask us to remove it, with or without an account.

This policy covers two groups: users (people who use the Service, Part A) and people who appear in results (Part B).

Part A. Users of the Service

2. Data we collect about users

2.1 Account data: email address, and your Apple or Google ID if you sign in with them.

2.2 Searches and questions: the names, phone numbers, email addresses and other details you enter, the questions you ask AI Search, and the results you open. This is personal data about you, and often about the person you searched for.

2.3 Purchase data: plan, price, transaction ID and status from Apple or Google. For website purchases: name, email, billing country and the last 4 digits and expiry of your card from our payment processor, Paddle; full card data is held only by Paddle.

2.4 Device and usage data: device model, OS and app version, browser, language, IP address, advertising ID (only if you allow tracking on iOS or have not opted out on Android), crash logs and in-app or on-site events.

2.5 Website and campaign data: cookie IDs, UTM parameters and ad click IDs, subject to your cookie choices (see Cookie Policy).

3. Why we use user data and legal bases (EU/UK)

4. AI Search

• Questions you ask, and the sources needed to answer them, are sent to third-party AI model providers acting on our behalf, only to generate the answer.
• We use providers whose terms do not allow them to use this data to train their models. We do not use your searches to train models of our own that are shared with other customers.
• AI answers can be wrong. Do not enter sensitive information about yourself or others that a question does not need.

5. Who we share user data with

• Service providers acting on our behalf: hosting and storage, search and data providers that run lookups, AI model providers, analytics and crash reporting, email delivery, customer support tools, and Paddle for website purchases.
• Apple and Google: to process in-app purchases and refunds.
• Advertising partners (such as Meta, Google and TikTok): limited device and event data to measure our ads, only where you allow it. Never the names, numbers or emails you search for.
• Authorities or advisers where required by law or to protect someone’s safety, or in a merger or acquisition under equivalent protections.

We never share your searches with the person you looked up. We do not sell personal data for money. Under some US state laws, sharing device data with advertising partners may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising"; you can opt out (Section 8).

Part B. People who appear in results

6. Information about you in our results

When someone searches, we look for matching information in publicly available sources and in data licensed from third-party providers that compile public information. This can include your name and aliases, age range, cities you have lived in, phone numbers and email addresses that appear publicly, public social and professional profiles, photos posted publicly, employers and schools you list publicly, and mentions on the open web. We do not collect private messages, passwords, financial account details or real-time location.

Why: to let users find publicly available information for the lawful, personal purposes described in our Acceptable Use Policy. For EU/UK residents our legal basis is legitimate interests, balanced against your rights; we exclude special categories of data where we can identify them.

Your choices: you can ask us to remove, correct or stop showing information about you, and to keep it from coming back, at Remove my information. You don’t need an account. EU/UK residents also have the rights in Section 8.

Everyone: access, correct and delete your data (delete your account, or remove information about you from results).

EU/UK: also restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent at any time, and a complaint to your data protection authority.

US residents (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and others): right to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising, and non-discrimination. Use Do not sell or share or send a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor. You may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision.

To exercise rights, email support@aichat-search.com. We reply within 30 days (EU/UK) or 45 days (US) and may need to verify your identity.

9. International transfers

We are based in Hong Kong and use providers in other countries, including the United States and Vietnam. For EU/UK data we use Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful safeguards.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is limited to staff and systems that need it, and we monitor for misuse. Report vulnerabilities to support@aichat-search.com with "Security" in the subject.

11. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We delete user data if we learn it was collected from a minor, and we remove results about minors on request from a parent or guardian.

12. Changes and contact
